Hey, thanks for joining us, ladies and gentlemen, today I'm Gideon King, from Gideon King

and CityBlog. He's got a new single out and he has a new EP coming out, New York City

0:30.6

Guitar Player, great collaborative effort on this project. How you doing Gideon?

0:35.9

Good, so we had our technical issues try to get set up and we got it done and I'm in

0:44.3

Helsinki here in New York so we got an ocean away apart from us but it's all good.

0:51.1

So tell me much project, it's been going for a while, it's a great collaborative effort with

0:55.7

a lot of great New York City musicians, singers, and tell me how that came about.

1:41.4

thing we've ever created. And I guess I'm going to be pretty unoriginal and say that I think

1:46.4

this is the best we've ever done and say like, you know, it's a reflection of a lot of different

1:54.0

musical sort of examples of DNA. It's a reflection of the eclectic DNA of the band, jazz musicians,

2:04.0

soul musicians, R&D musicians, rock musicians, fusion people like me. And so we couldn't be more excited.

2:12.2

It is, it has some pop, it's got some rock, it has some jazz. But I don't know what I would call

2:18.5

it sort of a fusion progressive pop out. To be honest, my favorite band of all time is Steely Dan.

2:28.8

So to the extent that I had to analogize it to something and be really self-serving while doing
