So tonight I had the time and the desire to watch both A.E.W. and NXT.

And overall tonight, I thought NXT was the better show going head to head with A.A.W.

I felt that NXT would be better going into tonight with Triple H opening the doors.

It should be the better show, right? Because they have the more, they have more star power.

So I started with NXT. Becky Lynch knocked on the door, was let in, no issues. I guess I just

didn't like the logic that she walked right in, got her music, full video, but

Triple H did open the doors and WWE owns NXT.

They're all the same.

I just didn't like the overproduced part of it.

So Becky was in the middle of her promo and my favorite part of that opening segment was

the NXT Faithful, and this is something

we've talked about, the brand faithful, they chanted, Shane is going to kill you.

And that's the type of home field advantages that I really like.

I like that the fans saw Becky as the outsider and chanted Shane, Shana's going to kill you. That's good stuff. Ray or Ripley came out and it was game on for Becky versus Ripley. Good little match. It went to commercial in the middle of the match, which I did not like, even though they did the little box picture and pitcher thing. Didn't like that. So I clicked over to AEW for the first time. This was about

8-10-ish, and I saw Nick Jackson and Ray Phoenix go back and forth a few times, which was good.

I went back to Becky, Becky and Ripley had a good match. It didn't have a finish, which I did not like,

because Shana and the other two No-name horsewomen did a run-in.

Ending that match, and of course Ripley and Becky had to stand tall in the ring,

so they ran off the horsewomen.

The fact that there were no finishes was a theme that I was worried about going forward
