And although some people seem to be able to adapt more easily to night shift work, humans

And when we invert this pattern, it appears to have a number of negative consequences.

Night shift workers are more likely to suffer from insomnia, fatigue, accidents, ulcers,

even certain types of cancer than those who work during the day.
