One of the things that greatly interests me is being able to talk to members of Congress

about any bills that they may be introducing or any bills that would be of interest in the

sports business world. And I can't think of anyone better to talk to today than Congressman

Greg Casar because he's got a bill

that he wants to introduce called the Home Team Act and he was happy to come on nothing personal

Thanks for having me, David. Before I start, I heard a rumor and I assume it can't be true.

But when I say 417, what do you say?

That was me as a younger man.

I was 417 miler back in the day that used to get you close to the top of the metal stand in Texas high school

track, but nowadays the kids would completely smoke me. It's amazing how fast they've gotten.

Now I'm learning to just love distance better, try to squeeze a little triathlon in every month or two, but I'm not as good at

swimming as I was at running once. The thing about swimming, I did the Iron Man in Hawaii in 06.

The thing about swimming, you just have to get through it. You can doggie paddle if you have to.

Yeah, but I can't breathe, you know? Like, that's good. Then you're doing it wrong.

I know, I know I'm doing it wrong, David. But I, but I, but I can't breathe, you know? Then you're doing it wrong. I know.

I know I'm doing it wrong, David.

But I love it.

And we actually have a little, you know, race, little foot race, 5K, amongst members of Congress

and members of the Supreme Court.

And I get a little trophy for that every year.
