You know, it's really tough when you

when you're a Mets fan and last season was a total bust, you know, you thought that, you know,

it would be the year that they'd be able to sort of put it together. I didn't think so, but there

are definitely people out

there who did. And then the offseason just starts and you're already down, you know,

longtime Mets and Brandon Nimmo in Pete Alonzo and Edwin Diaz. And the Diaz and Alonzo news

hit in back-to-back days. And then you have the owner coming out and saying,

hey, listen, guys, you know, there's still some time for us to get a playoff roster put together,

which is hard to believe because, you know, who are the players who are out there, right?

What are the trades that need to be made? Because there are a lot of holes in this lineup.

And then you've got stories about things happening in the clubhouse.

And it looks like it's just this big mess.

And my question to you about this is a lot of the angst and a lot of the anger is being

directed towards David Stearns.

And my understanding from, you know, doing the show with you for so long

is none of these moves are being made without Steve Cohen's blessing. And he's one of those owners

who has his fingers all over every decision that is being made. So is this one of those things that

it's just like, well, David Stearns is in that

position, right? This is what he's paid for is to take all these bullets for Steve Cohn.
