2004. Yesterday, I do not want to have to do that too many more times where I'm

watching something live and doing the live show welcome to the live

nothing personal what a day to get into the Hall of Fame. One of my

favorite things to do is to talk to players about Hall of Fame because players

say about the Hall of Fame what they say about winning an Academy Award, which is I don't think about it.

Of course they all think about it.

And you come to a point in your career when you acknowledge the fact that you have absolutely no chance to be in the Hall of Fame.

And it is the same sort of epiphany that you have when you're middle management or you have when you see what your lot is and that's your lot. And no one is feeling

sorry for anybody who plays professional baseball, but for anyone who does, you then

only have about a 1% chance of making it to the Hall of Fame.

And it's always interesting to hear what the best of the best think about

when they realize they're not the best of the best of the best of the best.

So there's all these hours of pre-game and you go on MLB network yesterday,

and the first thing we hear once it's time for the announcement

is that there are going to be

several additions to the Hall of Fame class and there had been thoughts that

there could be five people six people seven players so I got into a discussion with myself which are some of the best

discussions. What number is several? One is one, two's a couple. What's few?

To me, three is few, four is several.

Can three be few and several?
