All right, Brian, in the next part of the Irish breakdowndown podcast brought to you by our friends over at Fandul.

We are talking about really the decision that went into yesterday, and we're kind of picking up where we left off.

And we're continuing the conversation around the committee's ultimate decision to leave Notre Dame out of the playoffs, which again,

still kind of doesn't feel real to say.

The shock and all yesterday, I think, spoke for itself.

We had a pretty long show yesterday, and I'd be willing to bet that all three of us

kind of struggled to come up with some sort of rationale because we like to have answers.

We are Irish breakdown.

I like to sit down and break down what's happening. One of the reason, when I was going through my interview process with Brian, he asked what, you know, one of the reasons was that I like listening to the show. And I said it's because I'm a seek to understand person. And if Notre Dame happens to lose a game, I don't want to just sit there and be upset and just, well, they just lost. They're just bad. I need to seek to understand. I need to figure out why and dive into the nitty gritty. And that's what I love that I get to do every single day. The most frustrating part about yesterday is there was no seek to understand. It defied everything that they went against for the playoff committee.

And that ultimately is what was extremely frustrating.

But as you know, Notre Dame unfortunately got left out yesterday, Brian,

and that's where we pick up this discussion.

I think my frustration with the whole thing,

and we'll circle back a little bit about what we talked about yesterday.

Because what we want to do is we're going to talk about, it's not just continuing an event about being left out. We're going to have conversations about, you know, what should they do?

How should things change?

It's not just, hey, guys,

we're going to spend the next 40 minutes, continue to vent about, um, Notre Dame getting screwed

over because we didn't get enough of it in our three and a half hour show yesterday. It's, okay,

so, so what should change? What does all this mean for Notre Dame? And I think what my focus is on,

Trevor, is it's not even so much the decision.
