We're talking about the Stanford Cardinal, Notre Dame's final opponent of the 2025 season.

And this is a very interesting, interesting matchup.

First and foremost, it's interesting because the kickoff is at 10.30 p.m. at night, Eastern time.

Right now, Notre Dame is favored by 32 and a half points.

The overrunner set at 51.5 by our friends over at Fandul.

But outside of just the kickoff time, this is an extremely interesting matchup,

more so from the Stanford side because they've just had a crazy season.

And the craziness of their season, unfortunately for them, did not start on the weekend of August 30th.

It really started back, I mean, what, almost in February when there was a lot of movement with this program, Brian.

They were going through it before the season even started.

Yeah, I mean, you had, you initially had the off season where Troy Taylor was suspended pending an investigation.

And, and, you know, with the misconduct, not like the, not like the more of more, how he treats people, more so than like anything like criminal.

And then he gets fired on March 25th.

And then they named Frank Wright the interim coach.

And he's only going to coach for a year.

And then they're going to open up the search.

And then, you know, that kind of just kind of began what was going to be sort of a wild off season in which they had a lot of

players leave and a lot of the players that have left, you mentioned this before the show

trip, pretty good years, Bear Bachmeyer left. He'd be their starting quarterback right now.

David Bailey left and is turning himself into a high draft pick. There's been a lot of guys take
