All right, Brian.

So for part three of the show today, we are going to be diving into what the numbers tell us in each aspect of the Notre Dame offense and the Ohio State defense.

And first, we're going to take a look at what we had talked about being a matchup that Notre Dame has to win in order to run the style of offense that they want to, right?

And it's no secret that we're starting around talking with the run game because that is Notre Dame's bread and butter.

That's what they've been able to do.

So you go through and you dive in and you look at their yards per game.

They're 14th in the country.

They average over 200 rushing yards per game.

I can almost guarantee you they'd be inside of the top 10 if you take out or if you only factor in power five opponents, right?

Because I'm sure that there's all the service academies are ranked ahead, them in rushing yards per game, things like that.

But the numbers that we really pay attention to are yards per attempt, the efficiency numbers.

Yeah, right.

They are right now, because of the postseason, they are now, see, first, second, third, fourth, fifth in rushing yards per game amongst power five teams.

And it's UCF, Tennessee, Kansas State, and Kansas.

But they were second going into the postseason.

They've obviously played a little bit, a little bit tougher competition the first two rounds.

Slightly.

Than other team people, yes.

Yeah, pretty decent run defenses.

Yeah.

They are number four in rushing yards per game against Power 5 opponents.
