Our final segment tonight, Brian, let's jump in to the defense.

And we're going to kind of do it the same way that we just did the offense.

We're talking about what we liked, what we didn't like, and then the big moments as well.

So right off the bat, Brian, what did you like from the defensive standpoint in this game as you look back at the film?

I love Josh Pate.

That's my dude.

I appreciate him coming on our show this summer.

But he said something after the game where I'm a little confused, right?

I'm a little confused because he had A&M rank number 10 preseason, Notre Dame rank number eight.

He predicted Notre Dame to lose this game, right?

And then when they won the game, he didn't, he doesn't think, no, he doesn't think there's any different.

He said, Notre Dame is good because of some of their parts.

They don't have anything elite.

And I was like, I don't know what you were watching, brother,

but that's one of the best secondaries in the country,

if not the best secondary country, because it is elite.

Yes.

It's not a bunch of veterans out there playing.

They had two true sophomores starting in that game in the secondary.

Why are they starting?

Because they're NFL football players. And they both made plays in this game. They're NFL football players.
