All right, Brian, in part two of today's show here on the Irish Breakdown podcast,

We're talking about the Notre Dame offense and some of their needs in the transfer portal.

And this is, like you mentioned before in part one, we're staying away from talking about specific players because, again, we're about two, roughly three weeks away from the transfer portal actually being open.

There are potentially numerous portal targets for Notre Dame that will likely end up in the portal, but aren't yet, or may not end up in the portal.

So there's very few names right now.

So unfortunately, like we can't have a conversation of like, all right, go get this person. This is more looking at Notre Dame specifically and looking

at Notre Dame's roster internally and saying, hey, here are some places we think that would

benefit you from supplementing through the transfer portal. So that's where this conversation is

going to be geared. Part two, we're talking offense. Part three, we're talking defense and special

teams. But at the end of the day, the transfer portal for Notre Dame's offense has been extremely helpful over the last couple seasons. You know, you think in 2024, you get Riley Leonard. You get your starting boundary receiver and Bo Collins. You get a return man who, you know, took one to the house and the Sugar Bowl and Jayden Harrison. You got Chris Mitchell, who stepped up due to some injuries, especially to Jordan Faison,

Chris Mitchell stepped in and started for the majority of the season.

Last year, and then obviously this year, Will Pauling was a captain.

Malachi Fields was your starting boundary receiver for the majority of the season.

So actually for all of the season.

So the transfer portal has been extremely lucrative for Notre Dame when they've looked into it for offense.

I expect that mentality to be the same as the roster stands right now.

They're not going to go bring in nine players through the transfer portal on offense.

But that being said, that there are still some needs that need to be addressed.

Big time and some very important needs, honestly, on the offensive side of the ball.

But I think the offensive side of the ball and the defensive side of the ball,

it's a very interesting conversation because when I look at Notre Dame,
