Notre Dame fans know this team is loaded. When you have the roster Notre Dame has, you've got to be able to do it.

It's kind of one of those things of can you play to your full potential? And I think Notre Dame fans are cautiously optimistic.

But I also don't think Notre Dame fans want to get too excited yet.

It's going well, guys. How are you? No LSU questions, right? No LSU. I was actually going to start off. Blake Rufino's on here, actually. No, I'm kidding. But, Brian, you know. Give me a real challenge. Come on, guys. Yeah, we're going to talk about the schedule.

There's some interesting marks there.

But when you look at roster and who's returning production, you know, the young quarterbacks that always get talked about are Archmanning and Bryce Underwood and even DJ Lagway and some of these other guys. But CJ Carr, I thought last year was one of the best

young players we had in the country, and his legs allow you to do some different things

offensively. When you look at the roster and what Notre Dame is added in the portal,

where do you put this team compared to the one last year at the same time.

Do you think this Notre Dame team has a chance to be even better, or is it still just to wait and see?

No, it has a chance for sure.

I think the key is going to be can Marcus Freeman get the most out of the roster?

I think that's the big question with Notre Dame, and can they be better in September than they've been most of his tenure? If you look at his 12 losses and how many of them came in September or August, it's like, I think it's over half of his losses. It's a different team because, number one, I think you have a lot, you had a lot of talented players last year that either first year starters or coming off of an injury. Like, you know, obviously C C.J. Car was first year starter. Taye Johnson was the first year starter. You got Buba Carr coming off of an injury. You know, you had kind of a new look offensive line up the middle. Jagassol gets hurt preseason. There just was, there were a lot of different things that really kept that team from peaking early brand new defensive coordinator. Not that that's an excuse because the Miami team that beat him in week one also had a brand new defensive coordinator.

But those are the things that led Notre Dame to getting off to a slow start.

But once they got going, that team absolutely annihilated people.
