All right, boys, let's jump into the defense and what they were able to accomplish today against this army offense, you know, that was scoring a whole mess of points this season.

They weren't allowing hardly anything.

They're scoring a bunch.

And they are really, really good at what they do.

And the, you know, the, you know, the Army quarterback was, what, like eight consecutive

games going over 100 yards or whatever, whatever the stat way.

He's a really good quarterback.

But like, you know, last week he had to run the ball 36 times.

You know, this game, it took him 32 times to get to 100 yards.

I mean, he's a really good quarterback, but look, this army team was outgunned and outmatched

most of the night, and it was fairly obvious, especially on the defensive side of the ball

at times.

And it continues, I don't want to say it continues to amaze me because that's not the right

terminology that I want to use, but it continues to impress me that every time it looks like

there's a glimmer of daylight on the outside for teams running the football, all of a sudden

I mean, and even the announcer's like, oh, he's got speed to the outside.

It's a one-yard gain.

I mean, it was just a continuation of what they've been, what Notre Dame has been doing

defensively.

I just think all season.
