And so what we're going to do today is we're going to have a little bit of fun with this.

We're going to break down to five players on the east side of the ball here on Irish breakdown, presented by Fanduil.

That's going to say, hey, these are the guys that we think have the biggest say on how Notre Dame performs this weekend and whether or not Notre Dame wins a game this weekend.

So that's what we're going to talk about.

So we'll go five on offense, five on defense, and we're going to start on offense.

Sean, and you start, you'll give your top one, or you'll give one, I'll give one,

and we'll go back that way.

We compared notes beforehand, a lot of the same guys that we have on this list.

But let's kick things off, Sean.

When you look at it, who is the number one offensive player that you look at and say,

that guy's performance is going to have a big role in Notre Dame getting a much needed to win this weekend.

It's definitely going to be a combination of Emil Wagner and Anthony Nath.

I start with the tackles.

Why is that even as Notre Dame comes off the game, but you saw 16 combined carries from Jeremiah Love,

Jadarane Price, you would think no name is going to come into this game against Texas and just

pound the ball and try to assert their physicality upon that. It's a pretty good chance that they're

going to do that. I don't know if they're going to come right out the gate and do that.

Maybe they get to it or try to build to it.

That's going to be interesting to watch.
