It is the Monday after Nordames's 39-10 victory over Nevada.

I'm Tim Priester with Pete Sampson and Tim O'Malley.

And I think last year, or excuse me, last year when we started the show on Monday,

I started by saying there were a lot of good things that happened today.

And, of course, they lost a football game.

But really in two weeks, there have been a lot of young, quality, talented football players

that have emerged for Nardame, more so against Nevada, of course, than against Texas.

Yeah, I mean, that's what the game was supposed to be about.

I mean, it was.

And it was just sort of a game where Notre Dame took care of business.

But to me, the story of the game is still Sean Carver.

The most important thing that happened in the game was Sean Carver's Achilles' tentator.

Everything else that happened was fine.

Kaiser played very well.

Got some young receivers were the first career catches.

Dalen Hayes, Khalid Karim got in, Dante Vaughn got in.

Devin Susser played the whole game.

There's a lot to like about Notre Dame's defense in 2018 based off Saturday, but the Sean

Crawford injury is something that's going to affect them right now.

And I'm not sure I look at that secondary and feel like they're going to be able to hold

up consistently the rest of the way.
