So our second part of today's show, which was originally going to be our, our second part of today's show, which was originally going to be our primary topic today, was talking about star power.

And we're going to start off with the Notre Dame offense.

And then we'll dive into the defense tomorrow.

We'll do these same topics about the defense tomorrow.

So in one thing that we talked about last year, Trev, was you have to understand something.

You need star power on your football team in order to compete for championship.

So before we dive into the players, we have to define what that means.

We have to talk about what does that mean to have star power.

And here's what it definitely does not mean.

It does not mean your perception.

There's no, there's no, well, this guy, everybody thinks this guy is really dominant or everybody

thinks this guy is a big time player, but he's really not. Or this guy is not considered a star player.

Like, I don't care. Like, Jeremiah Love was playing like a star last year before people started talking about him

like he was a star.

And so there's, you know, whereas Jeremiah Smith was talked about as a star before he

started playing like a star.

Now, as soon as he started playing, he played like a star.

But the point is, there was an assumption that he was going to be that player,

and he turned out to be that player.

Other guys are not assumed to be that type of player, but they're still that type of player.

So it doesn't matter what your perception is or what people think of you.

It's are you playing like a star?
