Brian, we're going to switch gears here on the Irish Breakdown podcast brought to you by our friends over at Fanduil.

And we're going to start talking about the NFL draft, which kicks off this Thursday.

First round will be Thursday.

I believe coverage starts around like 8 p.m.

Obviously, you've got to do the theatrics of the draft, and then they really start getting into the meat and potatoes of the

whole thing. So what we're going to do, there's about 12 Notre Dame hopefuls, 12, 13 hopefuls

that are looking to get drafted. And we're going to break those down and talk about what they

bring to the table, where they could be a fit if they've been projected to go anywhere. And this is

going to be a really fun conversation because we get a lot of questions about what could the 27 draft class be?

What could the 28 draft class be?

There's a chance that half or over half of the players going in this year's draft, or players entering this draft get drafted this year for Notre Dame.

And they have the opportunity to have the first running back duo drafted in the first round from the same school in the same draft class since 2008.

So this draft class could be the start of what's to come in 2027.

And I'm excited to break this one down.

Yeah, it's going to be an interesting draft clash, Trev, because we've seen Notre Dame

have success in the draft over the years, and obviously there's been some good success

under Marcus Freeman. And it's interesting because what we're doing now is we're getting

into the first,

really group of players that were primarily coached, or primarily coached and almost exclusively

recruited by, excuse me, primarily recruited and almost exclusively coached by Marcus Freeman and his

staff. Obviously, we saw, we've seen some guys.

Like, Jeremiah Love is not the first Marcus Freeman recruit to be a high draft pick.
