One day closer to Friday and almost another week down of the 2026 off season.

We're getting one day closer to the college football season kicking off.

But a lot of topics to cover before then, Brian, and what we're going to do today, now that rosters are for the most part finalized, there's going to be no more players entering the portal. Some late additions might happen. But for the most part, rosters are set. So what we're going to do is we're going to take a look at part one of today's show the best transfer portal classes. And we've broken them down by conference. We're going to talk Big 10, SEC, the ACC, and wrap it all up with the Big 12.

Before we do that, we're going to obviously talk about Notre Dame's portal classes.

This is a Notre Dame podcast after all.

And then in part two and kind of three of today's show, we're going to be talking about which model works best

and how the 2026 season is going to be

very telling as to what might happen and what we might see in the future of college

football.

So very interesting show today.

Obviously, the transfer portal is now a big part of success for teams.

And you could argue it is now something that teams have to do to varying degrees.

But it's a very interesting conversation.

Where we're going to start with that, Brian, is Notre Dame, a team that has had a lot of success in the portal.

Although they're not bringing in classes of 25 to 30 guys in the portal, it has still been equally as successful for them and arguably a little bit more successful than some other programs.

Yeah, I mean, when we kind of dive into this conversation about portal classes, Trev,

and we'll kick things off with Notre Dame because I view Notre Dame as a winner in the

transfer portal, one of the, not like the, there's never like the winner.

There's winners who won the transfer portal.

It's some of the teams that we're going to talk about are, are not teams that had big classes,

but it's did you meet the needs with impact talent for whatever your portal needs were.
