So next, we are going to dive into some 2026 NFL draft. And we're going to kind of start, Sean,

with a little bit of conversation about some things we're hearing. I'm not seeing it. I'm not

reading it. I told you all I don't really watch or read other people.

I'm simply going by what my friends have reached out to me and just to some of the panic of,

hey, are you surprised Nurtium only had six guys drafted and said, not really because I didn't expect anyone else to get drafted.

Howard Cross is a six foot one, two hundred eighty-pound defensive tackle who didn't test very well.

I don't know why you were expecting him to, well, he's not Aaron Donald, right?

I mean, I didn't expect Bo Collins to get picked, although he was probably the guy that I thought could be the one that could sneak in because he's got a lot of career production and he's got the measurable 6-3

over 200 pounds you know tested very well i didn't really expect anybody else to get picked

so i wanted to talk a little bit about what does that say about notre dame because here's some

numbers sean and and to speak to notre dame and and they only had 26 guys drafted.

Well, if you look at some of the other top teams in the country, Ohio State, 14 players drafted.

They had seven players picked before Notre Dame's first guy came off the board.

Georgia this season, who Notre Dame played in the playoffs, had 13 players taken,

three in the first round.

Oregon this year had 10 players taken.

Texas had 12 players taken.

You get all these teams Michigan a year ago had, what, like 15 players taken in the draft.

And then they had three guys going the first

round this year what is going on at Notre Dame that there did they just get lucky to that no

that none of those things are true just like Penn State did not get lucky this year because

they only had five guys drafted.
