So it was reported today at 255 p.m. while we were actually in the middle of Bicel Hold,

actually I think we were two, three questions into Bicill Hold, that Chris Ash, a former college defensive coordinator,

spent some time now in the NFL. It was announced that he accepted the position at

defensive coordinator for Notre Dame after Al Golden elected to take the job with the Cincinnati

Bengals. And so what Brian and I are going to do is, you know, we're going to talk about,

you know, what this means for Notre Dame.

We'll give a little bit of a background into where Chris Ash came from, what he did,

what his credentials are for this position.

And then we're going to kind of dive into, you know, what needs to happen for this to work

out from a personnel standpoint for players and, you know,

other coaches on the staff as well.

You know, some of the stuff that we covered, we covered earlier in the week when we talked

about when the news broke when he was expected to become the next defensive coordinator,

but he hadn't accepted the offer.

So some of it will be a little bit of a recap, but we're going to kind of run through this thing in whole.

So Brian, when we talk about Chris Ash, you know, kind of kick us off with what this means for Notre Dame's defense.
