What are the major differences between Joe Otting and Ash and Craig?

What tools does Ashen possess that Joe does not? And can the offensive line still reach its ceiling with Joe Otting, not hating on it?

Yeah, I think that let's go reverse order. If let's just say something happens and Ashton Craig

can't play for this year and Joe Otting beats out Cam Heron in a battle for the starting

center job, do I think the offensive line can be really good? Absolutely.

Is the ceiling a little lower? Yes. But it's still an outstanding offensive line. Are they

going to win the Joe Moore award with him? I don't know. Maybe, maybe not. I don't think Joe

drags the offensive line down. I just don't think his ceiling is as high as Ashton's when he's

healthy. That's really what it comes down to. But I mean, we saw last year, Treb, even when Joe

was starting, like the offensive line dominated USC, dominated USC. And I thought, and that was

Joe's first first first start. And I thought he played very well that game.

You look at how well they played against Pitt, you know, ran the ball real well on that pit defense and had some big runs early in the game.

Joe started in that game.

You know, they dominated Navy on the ground, average 6.6 yards per carry, ran for 249 yards. He started in that game.

They averaged 329 yards against Syracuse, average 13.7 yards per carry. He started in that game.

So they absolutely actually matter. I mean, again, the competition wasn't the greatest, but it

included two ranked teams.
