Which position group has the widest gap between starters and backups?

How does this depth impact performance in the biggest games?

Oh, boy.

I got an answer for this one if you needed some time to think on.

Let's first, when we say gap, are we talking about talent, experience, like, or all of it?

Like, what are we determining the gap to me?

I took it as like readiness, like readiness to just step up into the starting lineup and go.

Okay.

Because I'll say talent-wise, I don't see a ton of gaps.

In some positions, your backups are going to be your most talented guys.

But if what's about readiness and ability to step on the field right now and play?

Okay, Trev, you go first.

I would say across the board because it's not the same for all of the five starting

offensive linemen or their backups in the two deep.

But as a five-man unit, I would probably say the biggest gap in a position group

between starter and backups would be the offensive line in terms of

readiness across the board, I would say.

It would probably be them.

Yeah, I'm probably going to stick with the offensive line.

It's fair.
