How do you think the 14, 15, and 16 seasons could have gone with a decent defensive coordinator?

I think Notre Dame plays for the national championship in 2015.

If they had a, like if they had Mike Elko was their dec coordinator two years before he took over,

I have a hard time seeing anybody beat that Notre Dame team

in 2015. Bama maybe has a shot to beat him because that Bama team was really good.

Yeah, Derek Henry, O.J. Howard, that was a really good Bama team. But I think that Notre Dame team

in 2015 could have beat anybody if they had a good coach. And they played pretty terrible and

still had a shot to beat

Clemson at the end of the game. And Clemson played Bama. Should have beat a top five Stanford team

that year. And by the time they played Ohio State, they were really banged up. But I think ultimately,

I think the 2015 Bama team, I think might have beat them just because Notre Dame was pretty beat up by then.

Sheldon Day got hurt.

C.J. Pro size was hurt.

But that team was really talented.

They would have finished better.

They wouldn't have lost to Northwestern and Louisville at the end of the year.

The way they did, they still wouldn't have got smacked by USC because they were so beat up by that point in time on defense. Do they beat Arizona State? Probably, but they still had some really

bad turnovers that game. And part of that was because you knew you had to score a bunch of points

to win. So you kind of get it. But I mean, I think they're probably at least a nine and three team in 2014.

I think they play for the title in 2015, and I think the 2016 is probably a 10-win team.
