can the Notre Dame Fighting Irish defense generate a more consistent pass rush and handle

the lead offense as well enough to move from strong to truly elite in

2026. Give me the defensive MVP. I mean, I think, Drew, what you just nailed there is

our question. Like, that's the summary of the defensive end show. It's, it's that,

okay, can they do that? You can they can they can they generate a consistent

pass rush there's two elements to that number one is will chris ash put them in position to

allow them to generate more of a pass rush he did not do that the first i would actually argue

your first four games and then things change against boise State. Now, I don't care what Chris Asht says in press conferences. They did just get better at what they were doing in the first four games. Bull. Like, no, you didn't. You did things differently. At the very least, you did things differently from a percentage standpoint.

Well, all the stuff we ran in game five, we ran a game one.

You ran the same calls, but you ran these calls 80% of the time as compared to 5% in the first three games. You know what I'm saying?

Like, yeah, you ran cover three in the first couple games, but you ran at 65% of the time where you only ran at 15% of the time after you.
