I think the hardest part was being patient and knowing what was going on, not being able to say

what was going on, and trying to get people to understand

it's not going great, but it's not going terrible either. And at the end of the day, relax,

let it play out. I mean, there were some guys that we knew we're going to jump into a portal

that weren't there yet, things like that. And, you know, but you're also frustrated by the things that you know

that they're not doing the right way which had some you know cost them some time there were some

guys they went after that they just should have not have wasted their time with you know there's

some guys they probably could have had if they wouldn't have dropped the ball in some certain instances

I mean those things are very frustrating and and so part of you wants to dive into the anger. Like you want to, you know, you want to vent as well, but knowing that like, look, this is a, this is a marathon, you know, it's not the kind of same kind of marathon as like high school recruiting. It's a bit of a sprint, but maybe this is more of a 200 meter dash or a 400 meter dash as opposed to 100 meter dash you know what I mean it's not necessarily like you know a cross country you know you know five mile race or whatever but it is a it's still a sprint maybe it's like I said maybe it's the 400 instead of the 100 but it's still a sprint you got off to a bad start and you have to finish well, and they're still trying to do that. They're not done doing that yet. So like I said, I do think that they're trying to close with Myelin Graham. I do think they're trying to get Francis Brew. I do think they want to get a kicker. And there's a couple other things that they're working on too. But I think that's the big key is let it play out.

And then we can evaluate all the good and the bad at the end.

And so I think that was my frustration is just people not being willing to wait and be patient and just losing their minds and the constant negativity.

And it's like, look, it's okay to say things aren't going great without just

being absolutely nuts about it. And X, I mean, X is an unbearable the last week, you know,

just unbearable because people just losing their minds about it. And we'll see, we'll see kind of how it finishes. But there's still work to be done. This is a good finish so far if you can add one more D tackle. This is a really good finish. Do I love how the offseason is gone? No. Do I think if they can get Francis Brew that I'm now going to say, I think N Dame has the best roster in college football next year.

Yeah, I am.

You know, so end of the day, what matters for the 26 team is what are the results at the end of the portal process?

That doesn't mean you accept the process.

But that's up to Marcus Freeman to fix and make sure that they don't make those same mistakes next year.
