It's the end of another week of the offseason.

It's also the end of our state of the program series.

Today we were talking about the Notre Dame secondary unit that we all believe to be one of the best in the country, if not the best in the country. And that's really what we're going to be talking about today. We're breaking this down into three different parts. Part one, we're talking about the cornerback room. Obviously, they return the best cornerback in the country and Leonard Moore. We're going to talk about the other pieces that make up that room and the role that Aaron Henry is going to play with this secondary as a whole this season.

Part two, we're talking about the safeties. Obviously, we are two guys that believe that Notre Dame returns two of the best safeties in all of college football, one of the best, if not the best safety duo in college football. We'll talk about what makes up that room. Part three today's show, we're going to be talking about the future of the room. There are some areas where Notre Dame is a little bit thinner than what we would like.

So recruiting classes in 2027 and Part three today show we're going to be talking about the future of the room. There are some areas where Notre Dame is a little bit thinner than what we would like.

So recruiting classes in 2027 and 28 are going to have to be on the up and up. And then obviously some players in the 25 and 26 classes are going to have to continue to develop and rise to that occasion. And then we're wrapping everything up today, folks, with the mailbag. So ask any questions about safeties, secondaries, about Notre Dame, college football, some recruiting questions. I'm sure we'll be floated in there. So great way to end the week here, Brian. You know, this series took a little bit longer than we anticipated because the Notre Dame coaching staff was like, oh yeah, Driscoll,, you have your next two weeks perfectly planned out. We got something for you. We're going to get a whole bunch of commitments and force you guys to have to mess up your schedule, which we kind of appreciate. So, no, we're all about that. So we're going to be able to wrap this up, Treb. But yeah, this is a big one because obviously this is one of those positions where

it's kind of like the D-line.

We, in linebacker, like we think it's going to be really good.

It should be really good.

It's really talented.

But there's just enough question marks and not so much linebacker, more D-line.

The linebacker thing is just the new coach.

But it's very similar to D-line work, lots of talent, you know, proven guys coming back, high potential NFL draft picks, but there's just enough questions to say, we don't quite know just how good it's going to be this season.

And we don't, we definitely don't necessarily know how good it's going to be in the future because of certain question marks are going to address today.

But it is, I'll tell you, man, it's, it's come a long way. I was thinking the other day when we were, or actually it was been yesterday when I was thinking about what the game plan for today's show is going to be.
