Welcome back, everybody, everybody to another episode of the Irish Breakdown podcast, brought

to by our friends over at Fandual. Happy Wednesday, everybody. And it is, now that's the offseason, we have our bice of hold today. But before we get there, Brian, there are a couple of things that we wanted to talk about real quick. Some news broke last night, probably not the most surprising news to a lot of people. One, a move that we expected to see coming, but one that we definitely wanted to cover. Nonetheless, running back Jeremiah Love, officially declared for the NFL draft after a stellar three seasons in South Bend. And Brian and I both have articles out. A lot of different ways that you can kind of go and look up our recap of his career at Notre Dame, some early next steps of what this could look like for him, potential landing spots. But I mean, Brian Jeremiah loves time in South Bend has came to an end, a move that we expected, but one that we wanted to reflect on for sure. Still stings. And look, we're only going to spend a minute on it here just quickly because we'll have more on it like next week. We'll kind of talk about, you know, I'll have a replace and reload article, but we talked, this is why we wanted to have some of the conversations we had this past week about just the greatness of jeremiah love just so that people because like you said we we

knew this was coming and doesn't make it any less a bummer you know when it when it is official

for us for jeremiah love this is an awesome thing. You know, I just, you know, it's one of those things, Trev.

It's like this is one of those recruitments that and one of those young men that I just

hold in a little bit of a different place just because of, you know,

the connection we had with him and his dad during the recruiting process

and the fact that he did his commitment on our show. And then you just watch the type of young

man he became and just, I mean, we didn't have any role in that. It's just, it's more about

us being along for the ride of what, who he became and the player he was and his recruitment

and to see him get this opportunity to go play at the next level, which is obviously a dream

of a lot of young men like him and, you know, with his ability and things like that.

And it's just, it's a sad day for us as fans that we don't get to see him play again,

but it's an awesome day for fans of Jeremiah love because you we don't get to see him play again, but it's an awesome day for fans of

Jeremiah Love because you're going to get to see him go live a lifelong dream. This is not a financial

decision for Jeremiah Love. This is a, I'm ready to pursue my, my dreams opportunity for him.

And I'm happy for him. And then of course, sporting news came out today. We're just going to be real

quick at this. Sporting news came out today with their All-American team. Jeremiah Love, Leonard Moore,

both first team all-Americans. That means they are one more first-team honor away from both being

unanimous All-Americans. I've got to look that up. When was the last time they've already

had two unanimous All-Americans in the same year?
