2 Kings chapter 3 verses 16 through 18.

And he said, thus says the Lord,

I will make this dry stream bed full of pools.

For thus says the Lord, you shall not see wind or rain, but that stream bed shall be filled with water

so that you shall drink you, your livestock, and your animals.

This is a light thing in the sight of the Lord.

He will also give the Moabites into your hand.

I'll just pause there. Did you hear that phrase? Well, let me give the setup.

So here in this passage, God is miraculously providing water for all these soldiers in the middle

of a dry land, and not just for them, but for their livestock, their animals, and he's promising

deliverance in the battle they're going into with the Moabites.

And right in the middle of it, did you hear that phrase in verse 18?

The Bible says this is a light thing in the sight of the Lord.

I forgot to miraculously provide water in a dry land.

That's easy. That's a light thing for God to provide deliverance in battle.

That's a light thing to God. In other words, nothing is too heavy for God when it comes to

providing for his people and accomplishing his purposes. Can I say that? Again, nothing is too

heavy for God when it comes to providing for his people and accomplishing his purposes.

And this should lead us to pray with faith. When we pray, let's remember who we're praying to.

It's a light thing for God to do miraculous things. So God help us, we pray, to pray with faith.
