Hey everyone, it's Ellie, wishing you a happy, I guess Tuesday will be when you hear this instead of the customary Friday.

We'll probably be back with something else on Friday.

But the reason we're doing this early in the week, of course, is because we got huge,

I was going to say surprise, but not really surprising.

Maybe the timing was surprising.

Huge news on the Sunday night of Thanksgiving weekend.

Of that, of course, is President Joe Biden's pardon of his son, Hunter Biden.

There's a lot at play here.

There's a lot of sort of conflicting type of through lines, which we'll get into in a

minute.

One thing that I almost wish Joe Biden had done, I would accredit him a lot more if he did,

is if he just said, it's my son.

No parent will let a child go to

prison if they could prevent it. I said that on air, months ago, gosh, when Joe Biden was making

one of his many obviously false denials that he would ever do this, it cut back to me. And they said,

what do you think? I said, I don't know, I would definitely part of my son for no matter what I think anyone would. And everyone else on the panel agreed with me. I would almost, I would actually, not almost.
