Last Friday, out in our nation's capital, there was an amalgamation of athletic directors.

You had Greg Sankey from the SEC, Charlie Baker, president of NCAA.

You had coaches like Urban Meyer and Nick Saban, media executives,

athletic directors, Adam Silver was there, all with Donald Trump and members of his cabinet

and Congress and Congress to discuss the future of college sports. And you might remember,

this is not the first time that Trump has taken an interest in college sports.

He did sign an executive order that was trying to make this commission that would enforce rules to govern the industry and would require schools to maintain a certain level of scholarships, prohibit third party pay for play.

And that was nearly six months ago, and none of that has happened.

So this was take two of the biggest roundtable for college sports we've ever seen.

Maybe the best.

Well, here's the thing. There definitely needs to be changes to how collectives operate around the NCAA.

The issue that I have here with this specific meeting is who wasn't there?

The players?

Student athletes.

Not a single representative of a student athlete.

And, you know, it's also, now I realize that this roundtable had been planned before other things started happening.

Generate.

Over the last couple of weeks that you would think maybe the president and members of Congress might be more focused on.
