Turn in the scriptures to John the third chapter, John 3 and about verse 14.

He said, as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the son of man be lifted up,

that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Somebody say, thank God for eternal life.

For God so loved the world that he gave, his only begotten son, that whosoever

believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Do you have everlasting life?

Yes.

For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world,

but that the world through him might be saved.

Notice that phrase again.

God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world.

The father did not send Jesus to the earth.

Jesus did not come to condemn.

He came, he was sent to save.

Said out loud, not to condemn, but to save.

Keep reading.

He says, he that believes on him is not condemned.

But he that believes not is condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God.

Now, the word condemn is legal terminology, as is the word justified.

It's the opposite of condemned.

And really, there are whole portions and passages in the New Testament that are technically legalese.
