Cruz had been handing out communist propaganda with Lee Harvey Oswald a few months

before Oswald killed JFK which could only mean that Ted Cruz's father was

somehow involved with John F. Kennedy's assassination.

It was a stretch.

But at the time, Trump was running against Cruz

for the Republican presidential nomination.

Now, Trump was already well on his way to becoming the party's nominee,

but Ted Cruz was still hanging on,

and he was refusing to leave the race much to Trump's vexation.

And once the Inquirer came out with a conspiracy involving Cruz's dad,

Donald Trump wasted no time promoting it.

By the morning of May 3rd Trump was calling in to his favorite

morning show.

His father was with Lee Harvey Oswald prior to Oswald's being, you know, shot.
