But I remember, you know, he was intimidated in the third screen test when he had the full prosthetics and the full costume and the moment when Bill completely disappeared

In this episode, a young woman is preyed upon

as the object of a terrifying creature's desires

and director Robert Eggers' period horror, Nospheratu.

A remake of the 1920 classic,

the film follows Ellen and Thomas Hutter,

a young couple in 1860s, Germany,

who contend with Ellen's continuing nightmares of a ghoulish being.

As Ellen is haunted by these dreams, Thomas sets out to Romanian business with the mysterious

client, the enigmatic Count Orlock.

In addition to Nosferatu, Eggers' other directorial credits include the feature films, The Witch, The Lighthouse, and The Northmen.

Following a screening of the film at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles, Eggers spoke with director Chris Columbus about filming Nosephiratu.
