Gordon Chiang since the beginning of the Hamas crisis and now the Hezbollah crisis, there's always

talk towards the end of an article about tunnels, tunnels in Gaza, tunnels in Hezbollah in Lebanon, tunnels under the border in northern Israel, tunnels

under the border into Sinai.

What about those tunnels?

Who digs them? How much are they paid to dig them? Where are they?

And are there other tunnels in the world that we need to know about?

Gordon and I most welcome our colleague Bruce Bechtel.

He is importantly the author of North Korean military proliferation in the Middle East and

Africa, enabling violence and instability.

He was also a professor at Angelo State University and State of Texas and a long time

North Korea watcher. Bruce a very good evening to you tunneling. As I recall

you've taught me over the years North Korea's a specialist in tunneling and they make

a lot of money. What do we know about North

Korea and Hezbollah tunnels? Good evening to you Bruce. Good evening John and

also good evening Gordon. Well they are the best in the world at this and that all

started back in the Korean War when they were bombed to into the next century

basically by the US Air Force Navy Navy, and Marine Corps.

And they've just gotten better at it

and more technical at it, as most people

who look at this would tell you.
