We got toddlerdom happening in this house.

So there are a lot of emotions.

I really try to keep mine in check because

there's a lot happening. What if we just joined the screaming? Like, what if we were like,

I too am upset? Sometimes it happens. There has been an occasion, especially in my younger,

more rookie parenting days when I just matched the energy and was like,

let's see how she likes that. How did she like that? No, it wasn't that effective.

Well, speaking of screaming toddlers, the confirmation hearings have begun. Yesterday, Pete Hegseth got his hearing, and I'd say he flat out killed it.

He answered all the questions. He was respectful, but to the point, and they didn't land a single blow on him.

You know, I've thought the whole time that if he got to the hearings that he would get through

because it seemed so obvious to me that Democrats and some Republicans were trying to use

the media to push him out and they didn't want him to get to a hearing because then they'd have

to get on the record of why they don't support him. Now I think he's pretty clearly going to make it through.

Yeah, and this shows the virtue of being prepared for a hearing, right?

You know, Pete is, of course, accomplished at being on camera,
