Hello, friends, and welcome to Sleep Tight Stories. Nora and her father have taken the storybook device to the lab

to see if they can learn any more about it.

When the results start coming in, they are both very surprised

and are not sure what it means, or what they should do next.

Nora finds an old artifact, Part 6.

Nora and her father stood frozen, stunned by what they had just learned.

She glanced at him, waiting, hoping for him to say something, anything, but no words came.

He simply stood there deep in thought.

That was unusual.

He often thought aloud, as did Nora.

Around other people, she was quiet, preferring to keep her thoughts to herself.

But with her father, she felt comfortable speaking her mind.

And yet, in this moment, she too remained silent.

What had started as a simple discovery on Earth had transformed into something unimaginable,

a life form embedded inside an old plastic children's toy.

Their long silence was broken by a series of strange organic sounds, soft beeps and boops

emanating from the storybook.

Then in a slightly distorted voice, it spoke again.

Hello, kids. My name is Storybook. Every night, a new story. To hear a story, just click the green

button. It paused briefly before continuing. Lay down and close your eyes as I tell

you tonight's story. Nora couldn't hold back any longer. Dad, can you believe this?

Never in a million years did I think the scan would lead to this, she gestured toward the storybook, her voice getting louder.
