Children that have had strained relationships with parents and where scripture says honor

thy father and mother that they that thy days may be along on the earth we actually think that honoring is at the expense of honesty.

The reality is just because trauma passes down to you doesn't mean it has to pass

through you.

Like at some point you have to make a decision that what happened to me

will not happen through me.

Then you can also become complicit in other people's trauma.

And I don't know who this is for.

I see a Christmas tree

and the Lord has sent the gate the same gift 12 years in a row.

But because it's been packaged in pain,

they've refused to open it.

But I hear the Lord saying it's the same gift. I don't have a new gift for you

until you open this one right here. To forsake someone is to emotionally separate your suffering. God is, I don't care who walks away.

I don't care what they did.

I don't care if they didn't choose you.

If they decide you weren't good enough,

I will never physically nor emotionally separate myself from you.

And so when you open up this gift, no matter what the wrapping paper is I am on the inside I'm on the inside

and so what that means is there's hope on the inside yes there's healing yes there's wisdom on the inside.

There's wisdom on the inside.
