Welcome to the Intentional Parents Podcast. Intentional exists to help parents in their

God-given task to raise passionate Jesus followers. We exist to bring hope, help, and healing

and what it looks like to follow Jesus in our time. Intentional is made up of

Phil and Diane Comer and Brooke and Elizabeth Moser. I am Brooke and the funny thing is we are all

family. Elizabeth is Phil and Diane's daughter so we're a family figuring this thing out together.

Today on the show we have Mark Batterson. Now some of you might hear that name and say I think

I've heard that somewhere and you have heard that somewhere because I'm sure you've either read

one of his books or been influenced by him in one way or another. Mark leads a church called

National Community Church in Washington DC which he planted with his wife. It's an incredible

church reaching the DC area for the kingdom of God. Mark is now releasing his 24th book which

we're going to talk about today. He also just released a children's book with his daughter

summer which we also go into detail about. But man it was such a rich conversation. We talked about

having a non-anxious curiosity in your family. We talked about having a holy curiosity and healing

prayer. I mean the conversation was so jam-packed and rich and as you will hear from Mark he's just

got a gift to be able to be clear and just succinct in his communication. So really looking forward
