Emmanuel Noah, thank you both for being here. You two come from pretty radically different

backgrounds. Emmanuel, you are a black man, a former NFL player. Noah, you are a Jewish woman,

as well as an actress, an activist, a former Israeli special envoy for combating anti-Semitism

and de-legitimization.

Despite that, you do have, that's a mouthful.

You two have just released a book called Uncomfortable Conversations with a Jew.

I am wondering, why didn't you guys call me?

Because I'm part of a Black Jewish alliance.

Nobody called me.

No one got me in on this conversation.

So I don't know. I'm not sure how uncomfortable the conversations are going to be here, but I'm sure. Let's get into it because you know what. Be careful, Don. You're just going to become, you know, we're going to draft you to help the book. So there you go. Listen, I think that having conversations and being civil is what it's all about. That's how you hash things out. So again,

thank you for being here. Tell me how you came up with this concept. What is this all about?

How did you guys decide to work together on this project, Emmanuel? Yeah, well, Don, I think

that far too often marginalized communities, we fight in silos. You have the black people fight for black people.

Women, they fight for women. The LGBTQ plus community, they fight in silos. But Don, I thought to

myself, what if we collectively decided to fight for and with one another? I realized and recognize

that our Jewish brothers and sisters were hurting, and so there

was no more brilliant voice, particularly even two years ago when I first reached out to

Noah, no more passionate voice to talk about the matters of anti-Semitism than Noah's.

And so really, I just wanted to open up my mind, open up my heart, so I reached out to Noah,
