we bootstrapped the company turning it from $50,000 to $23 million in four years.

And that first $50,000, 25 of that was earmark for a purchase order, a first order of product

coming out of Asia. And we couldn't afford insurance.

And so those goods shipped to our first market, which was in Singapore at the time.

Wow. And, you know, I'm getting goosebumps just remembering where I was. I got a call in the

evening here in Canada. And I learned that the whole container had been soiled due to typhoon rains and headwinds and so on. All the goods

were soiled, effective, could not be sold to the customer. And I got that call and started crying.

It was a lot of money for me and my partner. And I called up our supplier in China, a supplier I had known for over 10 years, who believed

in what I was trying to build, who believed in the relationship I had built with them for

over 10 years when I used to live there.
