As many of us gear up for a fun night with a few drinks on New Year’s Eve, you better show up with a date if you want to go to a particular pub in the UK. You are not allowed into the pub after 9pm if you are solo. When the pub owner showed the sign he placed on the front door explaining the policy, it sparked debate around the world.
