If you brought your Bible, open it please, to the book of Ephesians.

We began a couple of weeks ago on a new series, and the title of this is,

Give No Place to the devil.

Give no place to the devil.

And that's exactly what this scripture says in Ephesians 4.

Now there's two sources of thinking and believing

what God said and everything else

everything else is what people have come up with

human beings.

And even though these words and these thoughts and these truths came through human beings that penned it and spoke it,

we're convinced that it did not come from them as a source,

but that the Bible is the God-breathed, inspired,

inerrant, without error, word of God.

Now, if you don't believe that, it makes you vulnerable to all kinds of confusion and deception.

But if you do, believe it, it gives you a standard and a foundation and an anchor that there are sure things. There are infallible truths. There is right.

There is wrong. There is good. There is evil. And the Bible, the Word of God, reveals this to us.

And we here, Faith Life Church, Phyllis and I and the family here,

we hold the Word as our absolute standard

as the answer to every question.

We don't go to the Bible to find scriptures to support our beliefs. We go to the Bible to get our beliefs. There's a difference. Big difference.

And no matter how much we may believe something, or Mama believed it,

or Grandma believed it, or our group believed it, if we find out in the Word, something in the
