Now there are a ton of Elmore Leonard books and stories that have been turned into movies and TV shows.

There's Get Shorty, Justified, Three Tend to Yuma, My Personal Favorite, The Movie Jackie Brown,

starring the delicious Pam Greer, which was adapted from the book Rum Punch.

And today's story is actually a throwback to his days writing Westerns.

This story was originally published in 1955, and then it was collected in the complete Western stories of Elmore Leonard from William Marrow.

There are a lot of classic Western action-packed motifs in this story, but really at the end of the day I think it's more of a psychological tale,
