Summary

Iran was hit hard by Israeli forces after their 60 day deadline to work out a no nukes deal expired.  It sounds like it was directed by the US.    The Royals lose 1-0 to the Yankees and finish 0-6 against the bombers this year... this team is at a crossroad as the A's arrive for a weekend series that feels really important.    The US Open was better than expected as several players were able to handle the tough conditions at Oakmont Country Club, the biggest names from LIV Golf.    A local businessman I know has a fabulous tribute to his dad every Father's Day weekend, we'll share it with you.  Daniel Henks joins us to share the story of the Mizzou football team building a house on their mission trip with www.wonbyonetojamaica.org.     And our Song of the Week is perfect for a world on fire.

Well, of course, we had to finish off this week with an absolutely insane, big news story,

0:13.5

and that is essentially Iran claiming it's a declaration of war now against Israel after

0:17.8

overnight while we slept Israel firing missiles into Iran, and it was very

0:23.2

successful. They took out all kinds of nuclear facilities and a big time gathering of leaders

0:28.7

in the Iran military, and apparently those men are dead. So it was a targeted strike and very

0:35.3

successful. A counter strike of drones seems to be pushed back by Israel at this point, but you know something worse is coming for Iran. So it is on. Iran is blaming the United States for supporting Israel and says we will not just say Israel is the enemy, but the United States is the enemy. So it doesn't seem like some sort of an agreement to not have nukes in

0:55.3

Iran is any time in the offing. We'll get into that and so much more on this Friday episode of KKHI

1:01.0

where we'll have our very special guest today who you met about, I guess it's been about a month

ago, Daniel Hanks. We've got to know him as a sponsor of the podcast. He's with EEE Outdoor, Earth Effects Outdoor, and they did the Christian mission to Jamaica with one by one to Jamaica.org.

And the University of Missouri football team went along, about 60 of them from the Missouri football team.

1:23.5

And he's going to report back to us and tell us what was like to have these big, giant young

1:27.9

athletes there doing a bunch of great work. They actually built a house. The Missouri football team

1:32.6

built a house in Jamaica in the week they were there. And I don't think it took much more than

1:37.6

a day. I think this thing went up and it apparently was really, really cool. And Eli Drinkwitz was

1:41.8

great. And we'll hear from Daniel on exactly how

1:44.5

that was. He'll be our shorter than normal conversations, just an update on what happened coming

1:49.6

up in a little bit. We also have a song of the week that's very appropriate for everything that

1:52.9

happened this week because it was a wild week. Marco Rubio, the Secretary of State, has made a

1:59.6

proclamation. The United States was not involved in Israel's strike on Iran, even though apparently a bunch of Iranian leaders are now dead.
