Okay, today we're talking about this issue of no good people being allowed to receive God's gift of forgiveness.

Now that may sound really strange because usually it's the good people who we

human beings view as being the ones deserving of things right and many times I think

people get tripped up thinking oh I don't deserve God's forgiveness or I don't deserve

God to to be kind to me or give me blessings and friends the reality is that's

exactly right we don't deserve it yet he gives it anyway we're going to look at a

passage today Ephesians 2, verses 8 and 9.

So if you have a copy of the scriptures handy,

please get that out.

And we are going to read in just a moment.

But first, we're going to pray and ask God to teach us what he has to say on this

episode.

Lord Jesus, as we open Ephesians chapter 2, we ask you to give us everything we need to understand this well and to understand

most of all your heart for us.
