I'm very excited for this.

I'm excited to learn what the hell's going on in baseball.

This is the perfect time to get in.

It is. Midway through the season. That's right. And the man making the magic happen, J.D. A whole other sport I know nothing about. It's very exciting for me. Well, yeah, this is the first episode. We're going to go weekly here. Do this once a week. Hopefully I don't run out of all my knowledge in this episode.

Right.

So we will have a second one next week.

Listen, we're not going to do the day-to-day baseball thing.

I'm not going to tell you what happened on Monday night in baseball.

We're not talking Vorpe on this show?

Right.

The only Vorpe I know is David Vorpe. I mean David Thorpe. Bad joke. Listen, yeah, we're not going to get deep into the analytics. They might come up here there. If you want the day-to-day stuff, I listen to the Athletic MLB show Monday through Friday. They do a great job. This is going to be sort of a zoom out, trying to understand the game.

Yeah.

Because things have changed since I was a hardcore fan, but I was a hardcore fan growing up,

loving the game, the nostalgia factor playing it.

You know, I've fallen out of love with it, but I still want to know stuff about it.

So I do follow it, you know, as a casual fan, and that's what we're going to bring to you, the stuff that's sort of surprising us, you know, as former hardcore fans, things I want to learn about, the stars of the game is very important to me, the stuff that makes us laugh and cry. Heck, we've got a baseball wedgy later in this show. What? Yeah, yeah, I know. Okay, now I'm interested. Yeah, there's not just basketball wedges. There are baseball wedgies. We're going to try some different things in future episodes. Maybe go down to the Tampa Bay Stadium because I've always wanted to see that ugly stadium in person. To the Trump. To the Trump. Yeah, thanks. I couldn't even think of the name. I think that's what they call it. Yeah, I think so. We're going to go probably to a minor league baseball game. Hopefully, Savannah bananas are just down the road. Oh, that's the team that goes like sort of crazy overboard with like their festivities and shenanigans within the game and
