Hey, Mousalja listeners, this is Jeff, and I'm here to introduce you to this week's

episode of Mousalgia's Best Ear Ever. This week will be revisiting episode number 37,

which originally aired on July 20, 2009.

You know, this episode is about Disneyland's 54th birthday and a private D23 event that Kristen and I were

able to go to. A couple of reasons this is cool. One thing, which, you know, it's just kind of a weird coincidence. Yesterday, my wife

Julian and I were shopping at a Home Depot here in San Jose. And while we were about to get some

paint mixed, you know, the cashieres started running around saying, everyone's got to get out.

There's a fire. And, you know, there was no fire alarm, no nothing. And we kind of ran out of the

store and we looked

back and suddenly like within two minutes the entire store was like totally engulfed in fire it

was the most frightening amazing just terrifying experience and you know the strange thing about it is

I wasn't going to do this episode I was kind of torn between a couple episodes, but seeing the fire and the sparks and everything, something about the

weird living aspects of fire just made me think, I got to talk about fireworks on nostalgia. I know

that's really weird, weird segue, right? But I immediately remembered this trip that I took with Kristen

because one of the cool things was they took us backstage at Disneyland and we got to see where they shoot off the fireworks.

And, you know, it was kind of a newer technique they were using, I think, to kind of limit the sound.
