and credits to your name, but first and foremost, thank you so much. Welcome to the show.

Thanks so much for having me, Matt. It's great to be here.

So here's a fun one. I'm not even going to pretend to make this like something I've memorized,

but of course you went to UC Berkeley and Harvard Law School after getting a degree in

political science. I got a degree in political science as well. And neither one of us clearly

are utilizing an undergraduate education because somehow we're going to get to this.

You went from Harvard Law to teaching people to cook on YouTube, which is so awesome.

And your work has been featured in CNN Buzzfeed, Forbes, Glamour, Women's Health, L,

well and good. Food 52, Bedsheets Magazine. I mean, the list goes on and on. It is such an amazing

career. Congratulations, but we got to start with, how did you go from lawyer to food blogger?

I mean, just walk us through that start. Yeah. Well, thank you for your kind words. And so growing

up, I was always very studious. I loved school. My parents are immigrants from India and

education kind of anchored everything that we did. And it never felt forced. I really enjoyed

school. By the time I got to college, I think I knew I wanted to be a lawyer. So I studied political

science. I got to law school really eager. I had done a few internships in college where I was

using the law to help people to improve people's lives. And that's what I want to do with my life.
