We're going to jump right into this thing. So first off, Nintendo Switch surpasses

one billion. That's right, with a B. One billion software sales.

We're at nintendolife.com and it says as part of the latest financial report for the fiscal year ending in March 2023,

Nintendo has provided updated figures for both its hardware and software sales,

while Switch hardware numbers have started to slow as the console reached 125 million units sold as of March 2023, the biggest milestone this time around is on the software side of things as the switch has exceeded 1 billion sales in that department.

The actual number, are you guys ready for this?

1,36,150 units.

It's massive.

That is, that is crazy.

That is some huge, huge numbers.

And it's interesting kind of going over these financial reports because the initial thought when you hear about the switch hardware sales kind of declining and and we'll talk we'll talk more about that in a little bit later segment.

But it almost seems like, oh, it's kind of a bummer, but like there's major good news

for Nintendo from these financials.

One billion units is a,

it's just such a massive, massive number.

And so let's dive into the article a little bit more.

It says,

we had an inkling that Nintendo would overcome the billion mark this time around after closing
