Summary

Mauro Prosperi wakes up alone and lost in the middle of the Sahara Desert. He’s forced to drink his own urine, and tries and fails to attract the attention of a rescue plane by burning his belongings. 1:06.1	a fair bit of sand while he was sleeping. Mauro crawls out of his sleeping bag, which was half buried by wind-blown sand during the night.
1:16.6	He rolls it up, then checks his backpack to inventory his food supplies.
1:21.6	All he has left is a lone energy bar and a small packet of pre-cooked pasta.
1:26.6	He's hungry, but just in case, he decides against eating anything for now.

1:38.3	Maro climbs a nearby dune to get a better view across the desert, But when he gets to the top, his stomach sinks.

1:54.6	No plane in the sky looking for him.
1:56.9	And absolutely no sign of any other runners or any people at all. He is completely alone.
